LoRaWAN Device
Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. LoRaWAN technology operates on the 915 MHz frequency band, offering superior signal penetration and reduced interference—especially through challenging structural materials such as lead-lined walls, brick, cement, and metal. This robust frequency range makes it ideal for environments with dense or reinforced infrastructure. Depending on the site layout and the placement of devices, a single LoRaWAN gateway can support connectivity for up to 30 LoRaWAN-enabled devices, ensuring reliable, long-range communication across the network. Ideal solution for: • Large installation such as Hospitals • Medical Research facilities • Warehouses or Commercial Catering Centres or kitchens. Add Ons: Devices can be fitted with any of the following probes, which can be located inside an asset, leaving the device outside of the asset. • RTD probe – standard probe on up to 3m of cable. • -80 temperature probe • -200 temperature probe • Humidity probe • LUX light sensor probe. • Water leveling sensor
LPWAN Device
Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology uses Cat-M1 or NB-IoT networks—dedicated cellular networks designed specifically for IoT devices. Each device comes with its own SIM card (typically on Telstra or Vodafone), enabling secure, reliable, and wide-area connectivity. With minimal setup required, LPWAN offers a true ‘plug-and-play’ solution, ideal for rapid deployment and real-time monitoring across diverse environments. Ideal solution for: Due to its ‘Plug and Play’ nature, it is suitable for small facilities like Café’s or anyone you who needs an mobile solution for Logistics such food or medical distribution. Add Ons: GPS tracker – to allow you to track location as well as temperature of assets. With strong connectivity—even through dense materials like concrete and metal—the compact and durable device allows kitchen staff to quickly record accurate temperatures. Designed for speed and ease of use, it integrates smoothly with digital HACCP processes to support efficient and compliant kitchen operations. Ideal solution for: • Commercial kitchens, catering centres, and central production units. • HACCP- compliant food preparation environments. • Environments where manual temperature logging is time-consuming or error prone. • Capturing and recording temperatures of incoming goods during cold chain transportation to ensure compliance at point of delivery.
COOLDOWN Device
Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. Designed for precision and compliance, the Callisto cooldown device records both the temperature and timing of food as it transitions through critical cooling stages. Purpose-built by Constellation, it automatically time-stamps the moment a dish reaches 60°C, 21°C, and finally 5°C—ensuring strict adherence to HACCP cooling standards. With real-time data transmission to the Callisto platform via LoRaWAN (915 MHz), the device provides complete visibility and traceability of the cooldown process. Its simple, rugged design makes it easy for kitchen staff to use without disrupting operations, while ensuring food safety and audit readiness.
