LoRaWAN Device

Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. LoRaWAN technology operates on the 915 MHz frequency band, offering superior signal penetration and reduced interference—especially through challenging structural materials such as lead-lined walls, brick, cement, and metal. This robust frequency range makes it ideal for environments with dense or reinforced infrastructure. Depending on the site layout and the placement of devices, a single LoRaWAN gateway can support connectivity for up to 30 LoRaWAN-enabled devices, ensuring reliable, long-range communication across the network. Ideal solution for: • Large installation such as Hospitals • Medical Research facilities • Warehouses or Commercial Catering Centres or kitchens. Add Ons: Devices can be fitted with any of the following probes, which can be located inside an asset, leaving the device outside of the asset. • RTD probe – standard probe on up to 3m of cable. • -80 temperature probe • -200 temperature probe • Humidity probe • LUX light sensor probe. • Water leveling sensor

LPWAN Device

Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology uses Cat-M1 or NB-IoT networks—dedicated cellular networks designed specifically for IoT devices. Each device comes with its own SIM card (typically on Telstra or Vodafone), enabling secure, reliable, and wide-area connectivity. With minimal setup required, LPWAN offers a true ‘plug-and-play’ solution, ideal for rapid deployment and real-time monitoring across diverse environments. Ideal solution for: Due to its ‘Plug and Play’ nature, it is suitable for small facilities like Café’s or anyone you who needs an mobile solution for Logistics such food or medical distribution. Add Ons: GPS tracker – to allow you to track location as well as temperature of assets. Smart Handheld Temperature Probe

The Callisto Smart Handheld Temperature Probe is an intelligent IoT-enabled device designed to simplify and streamline food safety compliance in fast-paced operational environments. Built for hospitality, healthcare, aged care, education, and food service operations, the handheld probe enables rapid and accurate temperature capture for endpoint checks, cooldown monitoring, hot holding verification, and food safety workflows. Integrated directly with the Callisto platform, the device automatically syncs temperature data in real time, reducing manual data entry, improving accuracy, and ensuring complete digital traceability. Designed for operational efficiency and ease of use, the handheld probe supports faster compliance workflows, real-time reporting, and improved food safety management across single or multi-site operations. Ideal solution for: • Commercial kitchens, catering centres, and central production units. • HACCP- compliant food preparation environments. • Environments where manual temperature logging is time-consuming or error prone. • Capturing and recording temperatures of incoming goods during cold chain transportation to ensure compliance at point of delivery.

COOLDOWN Device

Our devices, designed and developed by Constellation for Callisto, provide accurate and real-time data. They are the cornerstone of our monitoring system, ensuring reliability and precision. Designed for precision and compliance, the Callisto cooldown device records both the temperature and timing of food as it transitions through critical cooling stages. Purpose-built by Constellation, it automatically time-stamps the moment a dish reaches 60°C, 21°C, and finally 5°C—ensuring strict adherence to HACCP cooling standards. With real-time data transmission to the Callisto platform via LoRaWAN (915 MHz), the device provides complete visibility and traceability of the cooldown process. Its simple, rugged design makes it easy for kitchen staff to use without disrupting operations, while ensuring food safety and audit readiness. Ideal solution for: • Commercial kitchens and central production units handling high-volume food prep. • Aged care and hospital kitchens where strict cooling compliance is critical. • Warehouses or distribution centres managing pre-chilled or cooked food. • HACCP-regulated environments requiring documented cooldown records. • Multi-site food service operations that need consistent, time-stamped cooldown monitoring. • Any kitchen where manual cooldown logging is time-consuming or prone to error.

Label Printer

The Callisto Solutions Smart Label Printer is a high-performance industrial thermal printing solution designed for fast-paced kitchen, healthcare, aged care, and hospitality environments. Engineered for reliability and high-volume operations, the printer delivers high-speed, high-resolution label printing with support for barcode and QR-code workflows, ensuring accurate food traceability and compliance management. Featuring Bluetooth, USB, and network connectivity options, the printer seamlessly integrates with the Callisto digital ecosystem for real-time label generation directly from operational workflows. The hardware supports multiple label sizes, dissolvable and non-dissolvable media, thermal and thermal-transfer printing capabilities, and continuous long-roll printing for uninterrupted operations. Built with a compact industrial-grade design, the printer is optimised for demanding commercial environments requiring durability, efficiency, and rapid output for allergen labels, expiry/use-by labels, cooldown tracking, reheating instructions, batch traceability, and resident or patient-specific meal identification.

ESL Labels

The Callisto Solutions Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) Solution is a smart digital display system designed to modernise food service, aged care, healthcare, hospitality, and retail operations through real-time wireless content updates. Integrated with the Callisto ecosystem, the ESL platform enables instant updates for meal information, allergens, dietary requirements, pricing, QR codes, and operational notifications across multiple locations simultaneously. Powered by low-power e-paper technology, the ESL labels provide ultra-clear visibility, long battery life, wireless synchronisation, and centralised management — helping organisations reduce manual workload, minimise labelling errors, improve traceability, and streamline digital food management workflows.
